Ammonia pumps type "aPJM" - Leszno, Poland APJM pumps are single-stage centrifugal pumps. The pump body has connections: inlet on the motor axis and discharge ports towards mountains, the axes of which do not lie in one plane. A special electric motor with an elongated one is used for the drive shaft end on which the pump impeller is mounted. The electric motor is adapted to work in the atmosphere at risk of explosion. A tank is mounted above the pump, which is hydraulically connected to the stuffing box housing, forming it with the pump integral whole. The tank, after being filled with oil, acts as a DMM stuffing box lubrication system. It also acts as a barrier againstemission of the pumped medium to the atmosphere. APJM pumps are intended for operation in the zone of 1 or 2 gas explosion hazard. These pumps are designed for pumping liquid ammonia in refrigeration systems.
