The Palace and park in Siemczyno, historical sketch

In the big, more than 3 ha (look at the first two maps - light green colour), founded in 18th century, park, where there are oaks, lime-trees, maples, spruces, beautiful hormbeam lane, there also is the biggest near Czaplinek palace.
It had been being built between 1722 and 1728 in baroque style, but later on it was enlarged and rebuilt. Its construction based on the horseshoe plan with the tarrace in the middle.
The middle part is covered with mansard-roof. Its left wing has two floors and the right one is simple cellared annex.
Near the Palace there is a clearing with rectangular pond and single or grouped trees. They are worth seeing because of the beautiful magnolia, red oaks, lime-trees and horse-chestnuts.

There is not much of old equipment. What has left there, there are two pieces of fire places, one stove made of Dutch tiles and stucco work made from plaster of Paris.
The Palace consists of three parts:
1. Main body (rectangular shape) with deep corner reliefs on the east elevation.
2. South wing (rectangular) connected to main building relief.
3. North wing (rectangle) with square annex at the eastern side.
The main building is cellared, two-floor, covered with mansard-roof (carp-style tiles). At the east side there is the veranda on pillars.
The south wing is also cellared with two floors and it is covered with the tile roof.
The north wing, partly cellared, has only one ground floor and it is covered with the tile roof. The square annex at the east side of the north wing has two floors and is covered with tent-like roof.
All the ceilings as well as doors and windows are made from wood.
